Monster Huntsman Spider Snapped In Australia

Yet another monster huntsman spider is terrifying the internet, photographed in Northern Queensland, Australia. Definitely not one for the arachnophobes.

If you are an arachnophobe, chances are you would want to skip over this article.

Aptly named ‘Charlotte’ by it’s rescuer, who moved the spider away from harm, the gargantuan creepy crawly was photographed crawling on a broom on an animal rescue farm in Northern Queensland, Australia.

The photographs of the huntsman spider were actually taken last October, however have recently resurfaced online and have terrified the internet once more. Some of the comments on the image were amusing, most were horrified responses.

‘100% approve of and respect what you’re doing here, but please, for the love of God keep that thing and all of its family and friends OVER THERE and the heck away from me,’

Many have suggested that it is quite possible that the specimen was the largest recorded huntsman spider seen so far, stating it was not usual for them to get so big.

While the huntsman spider is scary in presentation, their bite is not deadly to humans, and generally are not aggressive. If provoked and a human is bitten, there have been some cases where the subject has experienced swelling and discomfort for 1 – 2 days at most.
