Have a look at these amazing, detailed photos of various insects taken by North Carolina based photographer Daniel Kariko, as he paints a picture of insects that look like something straight out of a horror movie.
You cannot deny that they are breathtaking though – included participants in the close ups are a tree cricket, boll weevil, wasps, moths and various other insects. They were taken using 2 different microscopes and then combined into one image via Photoshop.
