Thanks to the growing popularity and easy applications of drones, aerial footage of crop circle formations is much more accessible, whereas previously a plane or helicopter would be required to get any decent sky footage of the phenomenon.
Local residents who were puzzled by the mysterious “alien patterns” in the fields of The Republic of Adygea this week took to the skies with a drone to capture the formations on camera. It is also reported that similar formations have appeared in the Moscow region.
The awesome footage shows 6 rings, with the largest up to 42 feet (13 metres) in diameter. The 2 largest circles also had a strange crater half a metre deep in their centre.
