Monster Anaconda Filmed In The Amazon

giant-anaconda

The BBC film crew was onsite busy filming for a new TV series called ‘Tribes, Predators & Me’, where presenter Gordon Buchanan meets with a hunting family who specialise in catching anacondas. The catching and release of anacondas is actually a traditional practice, and commonly seen as an expression of strength and bravery amongst the local Amazon tribes.

Incredibly, the crew happened to be around when the group had caught their largest anaconda ever – an enormous 17ft monster that took many men to catch and carry out of the water.

The massive animal provided valuable scientific intel, before the team released it back into wild.
