Monster Fish Catch Near Japan Prompts Fears Of Nuclear Disaster Effects

Wowsers, talk about reeling in a beauty Hirasaka Hiroshi, a fisherman who managed to hook in this massive specimen which is believed to be a wolffish, is visibly straining to carry the big guy for the photo.

It’s believed wolffish usually grow to around a maximum length of 112cm and a max weight of 15kg, but as evident in the photo, this specimen seems to be much larger. The incredibly large size of the fish has resparked chatter about the Fukushima disaster affecting local marine life, potentially causing mutations.

Either way, thats one hell of a fish.
