Over time there has been numerous legendary stories about the Yeti, Abominable Snowman, and its cousin Bigfoot. The humanoid creature has been described as a huge ape like creature much larger than a human, covered in hair.
Recently, hair substances have been retrieved from the Himalayan region, potentially belonging to the mythical creature. However it seems science, at least in this instance, may have solved the longstanding mystery.
The hair samples were tested and were found to belong to a species of an ancient rare polar bear, a sub species of brown bear living in the region. Does this completely squash the Yeti legend, or is it still out there, simply to elusive for man?
