A Museum in Washington has unveiled a robot made from artificial body parts.
With a face that looks eerily human, and the ability to speak, the bionic robot was revealed at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.Costing over $1 million to build, the bionic man is made from 28 body parts, including a pancreas, circulatory system and a set of lungs.
Our bionic friend has the ability of speech thanks to a program likened to Apples’ famous Siri, and has the personality of a 13 year old boy.
“The whole idea of the project is to get together all of the spare parts that already exist for the human body today – one piece,” said social psychologist Bertolt Meyer. “If you did that, what would it look like?”
