SETI (The Search For Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) are taking a calculated approach to finding intelligent life in the cosmos, according to an article on Discovery.com.
Michael Gillon of the Observatory of Geneva, Switzerland has mentioned in a paper he has written that intelligent ET’s who would be potentially surveying our solar system would have an incredibly powerful transmitter to relay informational data back to them. The key, according to Gillon, is to try to find such transmissions.
